"If a man were porter of hell gate..."

Journal Entry: Sat Mar 1, 2008, 5:51 AM
NEWS

Sorry for it being so slow around here lately, but I've forced myself not to work on any other projects until the prize for the Sounds Like Pun contest was done. I'm 2/3-3/4 the way done with it, and it's been a nice segueway back into drawing. Perhaps my actual lines are a bit rusty, but my process is much more fluid this time around. Maybe, just maybe, with time and practice, I'll actually get good at this crazy stuff. Anyway, that's what's up. Hopefully the comic will be finished within the next week. I hope it'll have been worth the wait. :D

The "Sounds Like Pun" contest is over! Come see who won!

*Ravana3k wrote a story with Elle, and I LOVE it! You must all go check out Big Friends!

I edited a story by ~gwadahunter2222, and you should go read it. It's rather enjoyable. [link]

CONTEST!

Nothing at the moment.

WHAT I'M WORKING ON

Art
"Sounds Like Pun" prize - COMPLETE!

Writing
Elle, Part 3 - 20%

REQUESTS / TRADES / COMMISSIONS

Here's the thing: my time is limited, and my skills just emerging. So I'm really weary to do art formally requested by others. So I'm currently being really stingy on what I take on. Please take no offense to this. I'm just trying to make sure I don't get overwhelmed.

MIS AMIGOS

:iconkarbo::iconstorpotaten::iconravana3k:

*Karbo - There was only one person that could convert me into a macro/micro vore writer, and that person is Karbo. I hardly remember how it began, really. A few deviantART notes passed back and forth led to a trade, which has led to two collaborations so far, and a really great friendship.

~Storpotaten - If you enjoy my writing, you really have to thank this man. His art is what really kicked my writing muse into full gear! Bar-none my favorite stuffing artist out there, his art is incredible sensual and insanely sexy. Whenever I need some inspiration to kick my writing muse back into shape, his gallery is a must-stop spot.

*Ravana3k - This storyteller earned my trust with my beloved Elle with his first two wonderful stories involving her. He shows a darker side of her personality that I rather enjoy reading. I'm also loving his original character Marya and really want to write a story with her at some point. Check out his stories!

OTHER AMAZING ARTISTS

:iconjolly-phantom:

~Jolly-Phantom - A new artist to the community, she immediately became one of my favorites. Playful ideas and damned fine talent come together to form excellent pieces of vore artwork. Plus she does whale vore, and that's just off-the-charts awesome! Her art is what finally springboarded me into doing my own. One day I hope to be half as awesome!

Yeah, I finally did away with the other account I used to "Watch" people's art and just friended people on this one.

Perhaps one that began of pure intention, but strayed from the path? :D

Is it all right if I believe Elle to be a sadist, one who enjoys the harm of others? The Law of the Jungle can't be the main reason she eats humans. I think she enjoys the harm of smaller beings more than she lets on.

Looking forward to your coming work :)

Oh btw there is a writer contest I've started, if you want you can join in; just check my profile

Hey man! Work's been the craziest it has ever been, which is why nothing is getting done lately. Still working on the drawing for the contest, which is top priority for the moment, then I need to figure out how the heck to finish off this latest Elle story. So many things going on in the story, I'm having a hard time keeping it focussed!

Hey there, how are you? What makes the art? ;)

Hope everything is all right
~ElPortero:iconElPortero: Jan 24, 2008, 7:57:03 PM
All a matter of perspective. But if someone is desperate to remain outside the laws of life...well...they already become slaves...and...BY GOD!! That's a perfect metaphor! You're a bloody genius!
~dlausactor6373:icondlausactor6373: Jan 24, 2008, 6:58:44 PM
Depends on what you mean by "good". There is that little detail about having to hunt other humans for them for the rest of your life, after all.
~ElPortero:iconElPortero: Jan 24, 2008, 6:53:00 PM
There is no such thing as immunity to the Law of the Jungle, especially on Dorontu. On such a perfect world, no one would think to defy what is as basic to the circle of life as gravity is to physics.

Interesting idea though. Might work on another world. Sounds like a good thing to have in Felarya. :)

Also, the vampire Tanya (Zoekin's character), who runs a magic business in the Ur-Sagol ruins, managed to acquire some of these tokens and sells them to travelers, telling them the tokens will give them protection against Elle. However, she always "forgets" to mention the little detail about being made Elle's slave, so you would be paying two prices if you bought one off of her and ran into Elle. This is one of Tanya's favorite scams.

I just had another idea that came from The War of the Worlds. I remember a part in Orsen Welles' radio drama that mentioned the Martians using the humans as pets or hunters. My idea is that on Doronthu there are these special tokens that can be purchased to help prevent a giantess like Elle from eating you, but at a price: In exchange for your life, you have to become her slave, called an Enforcer on Doronthu, and help her hunt down other humans because even a giantess needs help sometimes. Each day you are in her service, she will give you a certain quota of humans that you have to get for her by sundown. If you don't meet the quota by sundown, then she will no longer have use for you and your life is forfeit. As long as you are in her service, you have complete immunity to the Law of the Jungle, but to keep that immunity you have to catch the required amount of humans. Elle doesn't really like the rules associated with Enforcers, but she thinks the best part of having one around is giving that Enforcer a very rude wake-up call: She will hold the sleeping Enforcer up above her open mouth as they are waking up and scare them half to death when her open mouth is the first thing they see with their waking eyes. Oh, and there can be only one Enforcer per giant, so if the giant or giantess you encounter already has an Enforcer then those tokens won't work.

Actually, everything is doomed...due to the eventual heat death of the universe. :D
~dlausactor6373:icondlausactor6373: Jan 18, 2008, 2:26:09 PM
I think I can already guess. The first storyline is the one that is spot-on. I guess Doronthu is doomed then. Perfect... perfect... *maniacal laugh*

It's always fun hearing what people think/wish/suggest will/might/could happen in regards to Elle's future. Her story is pretty well mapped out in my mind, but as for your suggestiongs...I'll give you a hint on those:

One point you suggested couldn't be further from the truth, and another is just about spot on.

But I'm not telling which. :D
~dlausactor6373:icondlausactor6373: Jan 16, 2008, 4:38:14 PM
I have two ideas for you for future stories about Elle.

1. Now, I know of the philosophy Elle follows and I respect that, but, and I hope she doesn't take this the wrong way, I think it's a little cold-blooded. What if she encountered a small human child? My guess would be she'd eat the poor kid on the spot. I say this mainly because of the rumors I posted on the Felarya forum about the character of Demechrelle, queen of darkness. One of them said that if a person, either human or predator, did something truly evil she'd come to them in their dreams and ask them to become her disciple and join the dark cult that worships her. Perhaps Elle might just fit the bill? *evil laugh*

2. Another idea I had was Elle traveling to another world and discovering an evil force that threatens not only that world but her world of Doronthu as well. The only creatures that can stop this evil are two humans, and Elle is told in a dream that she must put her philosophies aside and protect them from harm or the evil force will emerge victorious and spread, eventually consuming both Felarya and Doronthu.
